Turnovers

Airbnb cleaning service

Turnover cleaning for short-term rentals, timed between checkout and the next arrival, with a checklist a host can repeat.

Between stays

The hours after checkout

An Airbnb cleaning service is a timing problem before it is a product problem. Guests leave, the next guests arrive, and the gap between those two clocks is the only time the home can be reset. BRERH plans vacation rental cleaning inside that gap. If checkout is 11:00 a.m. and check-in is 4:00 p.m., the visit has to fit, including drying time for floors and showers. If the gap is shorter than the list, we cut the list with you before the day, rather than discovering the shortfall while the next guest is in a rideshare. Short-term rental cleaning that ignores the calendar becomes a scramble, and scrambles skip the bathroom that the photos made famous.

Airbnb turnover cleaning, as we mean it, is the reset between stays: kitchen, baths, floors, the surfaces guests touch, trash out, and the beds made with linens you supply. It is not a partnership with Airbnb, and it is not a claim that we are an official partner, a Superhost program, or an extension of the platform. We are a cleaning company. You remain the host. You own the listing, the house rules, the reviews, and the closet where the sheets live. We own the checklist you approved and the arrival time we agreed to keep.

Linens you supply

Linens are the host’s. We do not arrive with a mysterious set of white sheets and call them included. You provide what the listing promises: sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels, and mats. The scope says whether we strip the beds, start laundry in your machines, move loads, and make the beds from the clean set you staged, or whether you handle laundry and we only make beds from a closet that is already full. Those are different jobs. A two-bedroom with one small washer cannot finish every towel before a same-day check-in. If that is your layout, the plan might be a second set already clean, with laundry running for the set after next. We will say that plainly when we see the machines.

We follow your fold and your bed style if you show it once and write it down. Decorative pillows and throws go back where the listing photo expects them, if they are on the list and if they are in the unit. We do not replace a missing throw. We do not bleach a towel that the manufacturer told you not to bleach. Stains that survive a normal wash are reported, not scrubbed through the fabric until it pills. If you want a hotel fold that takes an extra twenty minutes, put the twenty minutes in the checkout window.

Restocking only when it is agreed

What the turnover includes

The included work is the guest-facing reset, edited for your unit. A studio and a three-bedroom with a pullout sofa do not share a silent standard. The list below is the usual starting point. Add interior ovens, patio furniture, or a crib setup only if you want them in the clock.

  • Kitchen surfaces, sink, stovetop, and the outside of appliances. Inside the oven or refrigerator only if listed.
  • Dishes washed and put away, or a note when the load will not finish before check-in.
  • Bathrooms: fixtures, mirrors, floors, and a restock only of the items you specified.
  • Floors vacuumed and hard floors mopped, with enough dry time before a guest walks in.
  • Beds made with your linens, according to the laundry plan in the scope.
  • Trash and recycling removed as the building allows. Obvious leftover food discarded.
  • A look at the rooms guests photograph: living area, dining table, and entry, reset rather than redecorated.
  • A short report of damage, missing items, or a stain that did not release, sent to the host contact.

Who it is for

If the home is also your house between guest stretches, say so. A turnover while your belongings are in the closets is different from an empty, photo-ready unit. Personal items should be stored where we will not pack them into a guest drawer. For a non-rental reset, house cleaning or one-time cleaning may be the clearer product. For an empty apartment at the end of a lease, see move-out cleaning.

How a turnover is planned

After that, scheduling follows reservations you send with enough lead time to hold the window. Same-day notice is sometimes possible when we are already free. It is not a promise, and it is not instant dispatch. A back-to-back booking with a three-hour gap may require a smaller list or a second cleaner, and both of those choices should be decided before the guests roll their bags to the door. Cancellations should be passed along as soon as you know. A crew standing in a lobby for a stay that was canceled is a wasted window someone else could have used.

The host’s side

Prep, access, and a guest-ready room

The same standard has to survive a tight checkout. When the window shrinks, we protect baths, kitchen, beds, and floors before decorative extras. Tell us which extra you refuse to drop, and we will tell you whether the clock allows it. A guest-ready room is a finished checklist, not a last-minute rearrangement of pillows while someone is already in the elevator.

What we will not take on

Exclusions matter more in a rental than in a weekly house, because hosts are tempted to fold every errand into the turnover. We do not claim to be an Airbnb partner, a co-host, or a property manager. We do not message guests, adjust pricing, or represent your listing. We do not provide linens as a hidden amenity. We do not restock items that were not agreed. We do not haul junk after a renovation, do pest control, or wash exterior windows at height. Maintenance defects are reported. A same-day guest still does not turn a cleaner into a handyman. If the unit needs a deep reset after a long stay or a party, say so. That may be closer to deep cleaning than to a standard turnover, and it may not fit a four-hour gap.
